Indicatie
Needles with secure connection for the injection of anesthetic solutions into the subarachnoid space; for lumbar puncture to collect cerebrospinal fluid for tests or for the injection of medicinal agents as part of medical treatment.
Beschrijving
- Spinal Quincke needle with a transparent hub and an obturating stylet.
- The non-Luer connector complies to the ISO 80369-6 norm, named NRFit™. The range of devices with a NRFit™ connection has the commercial name Neurafit™. This range features a NRFit™ type connection that complies with the ISO-80369-6 standard. These needles cannot be connected to devices intended for another application.
- The stylet hub is colour-coded and corresponds to the external needle diameter.
- The needle hub is made with transparent plastic to visualize the cerebrospinal fluid and is ergonomic to ensure an easy handling.
- The stylet is tightly adjusted to the bevel of the needle (avoids the risk of coring and tissue damage, reducing the risk of infection). It has a lug to indicate bevel orientation and it can be easily repositioned in the needle if the dura-mater is not punctured.
